MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada & TROY, Mich., November 3, 2021 – Woodbridge today announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition and integration of Hematite, a leader in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) control and abatement.
“The Hematite acquisition presented an ideal opportunity to blend Hematite’s talented team and manufacturing scope with Woodbridge’s deep foam and chemistry expertise delivering differentiated interior, exterior and seating product solutions,” said Woodbridge President and CEO John Zianis. “Integrating Hematite’s wealth of experience with ours, as well as incorporating their strong customer base, further strengthens our competitive position.”
With the addition of Hematite, Woodbridge is positioned to leverage and create new efficiencies in the development of integrated multi-functional and high-value next generation products for the rapidly growing new energy vehicles (NEV), while continuing to deliver valuable internal combustion engine (ICE) solutions. Woodbridge offers fully integrated foam solutions that includes design, development, integration, prototyping, testing and validation. Now, those offerings are expanded with a robust list of lightweight NVH product portfolio additions, including:

The acquisition includes sites located in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and Englewood, Ohio, USA.
