MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada & TROY, Mich., March 15, 2023 – Woodbridge today announced that Vik Shah has been named Group President, Seating & Interior Solutions.
As a member of Woodbridge’s Executive Leadership Team, Shah will lead the company’s newly created Seating & Interior Solutions Business Unit. In this role, he has global oversight of Woodbridge-managed Molded Foam and Interior Parts sites. He will report to Kai Jacobsen, President & CEO.
“Vik’s 26 years of leadership and management experience across multiple areas of our global business will be valuable as Woodbridge’s seating and interiors function undergoes a strategic transformation to create a more agile and profitable organization,” Jacobsen said. “We look forward to Vik’s leadership as we focus on successfully executing the company’s 2023 top priorities.”
Shah joined Woodbridge in October 1997 as Product Development Group Leader. During his tenure, Shah held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Interior Parts, NVH, and Assembly and Diversified.
Shah earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from Oakland University.
