Woodbridge Appoints Erik Ranka as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Program Management

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada & TROY, Mich., June 22, 2026 – Woodbridge, a global provider of innovative solutions, today announced a key addition to its Executive Leadership Team with the appointment of Erik Ranka as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Program Management. This appointment completes a key component of the Company’s leadership structure, positioning Woodbridge to further strengthen its commercial capabilities and accelerate the execution of its strategic priorities.

Ranka joins Woodbridge with more than 20 years of experience in the global automotive industry. He brings broad leadership experience across program management, commercial strategy, and cost leadership. In his new role, Ranka will oversee Woodbridge’s global commercial, marketing, and program management functions, reporting directly to Kai Jacobsen, Woodbridge President & CEO.

“Erik’s leadership experience and proven track record position him well to lead these functions and support our next phase of growth,” said Jacobsen. “His appointment strengthens our ability to execute our strategy and advance our strategic priorities and Woodbridge ambition. I look forward to working with him as he takes on this important role within the organization.”

Before joining Woodbridge, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Program Management at Camaco. Additionally, Ranka held various positions of increasing responsibility at Adient and Ford Motor Company.

Ranka earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and holds a dual master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
