Woodbridge foam-in-place capabilities address the challenges of seating with complex geometries and tight dimensional tolerances. Our advanced foam process provides solutions for complex draw contours; vertical walls; sharp corners and edges; concave, convex, and undercut shapes; foam-in-place over large inserts; and foam injection to yield a robust bond to cover over formed contours.
In the foam-in-place seating process, the vinyl is first placed in a mold, and polyurethane chemicals are injected into the mold and the foam begins to expand to fill the complex profile and secure cover material. Our engineered foam-in-place assembly allows us to provide best in class quality and appearance for diversified seating.
